Who Should Take This Course

The course is designed for neurologists or other health care professionals interested in receiving advanced training in the multidisciplinary management of multiple sclerosis.

Content

The online course is a series of self-study learning modules prepared by an internationally recognized panel of experts. Each module consists of a videotaped lecture, accompanying slide handout and detailed syllabus. The modules deal with a broad range of MS-related topics including immunology, disease pathology, imaging and treatment

 

Course Structrue

There are 21 modules within the course. You can receive CME credits for 16 of the 21 modules. There are no CME credits associated with the foolowing modules:

  3. The Role of Clinical Pyshologist in the Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis
  4. The Role of Physician Extenders in a Multiple Sclerosis Clinic
  5. The Role of Social Workers/Case Managers in a Multiple Sclerosis Clinic

Payment Information

Each module will be worth 1.5 continuing education credits if completed. You may complete as many modules as you wish for $100. You have up to one year from the time of registration to complete the modules and submit for credit. You will receive one CME certificate indicating the total number of hours completed. If you should decide to complete additional modules at a later date for credit, you will need to submit payment in the amount of $100 again

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation
